Support
The Forever Promise Project commemorates the lives of those buried at the Netherlands American Cemetery by connecting American families with the Dutch adopters who care for their loved one's grave.

Your support helps us complete the original objective of the founders of the Margraten Grave Adoption Program, connecting all American families with the Dutch adopter of their fallen loved one, and raising awareness in the United States and the world about this unique endeavor forged in World War II.
Many families in the United States are not aware of the grave adoption program, in which Dutch caretakers visit the grave of their adopted fallen hero on their birthday, Memorial Day, and other commemorative occasions. They are unaware of the bond of friendship that has developed between American families and their Dutch adopters as they remember each serviceman and woman through exchanges of emails, letters, photographs, and shared visits.
The Forever Promise Project does far more than just honor these young Americans who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. It serves also as a permanent reminder of the vulnerability of our free and democratic world.
